BUNDLE: Waterproof silicone printhead sealing kit + Splash Absorbing Strips (to minimize risk of electrical damage due to accidental spills)

Price:

$25.00

Water based inks (including DTG, DTF, UV and other inks) all conduct electricity, therefore sealing the printhead is recommended to avoid electrical damage from accidental liquid / ink spills.

This item includes video instructions and silicone waterproof sealant for you to seal your printhead and printhead cables so as to minimize electrical damage that can be caused as a result of an accidental ink or cleaning solution spill. It also includes a 10 pack of SPLASH ABSORBING STRIPS to minimize electrical damage that can be caused as a result of an accidental ink or cleaning solution spill. Works on all Epson printheads. Each Splash Absorbing Strip will absorb/hold up to 6cc of ink spills.

This item includes:

  • 10 x Splash Absorbing Strips (each strip will absorb up to 6cc of ink spills)
  • Silicone Waterproof Sealant to seal your printhead and printhead cables
  • Video Instructions

(Printhead and cables are NOT INCLUDED)

Basic tools required (for use of the waterproof sealant):

  • Water resistant silicone (included with purchase)
  • Small thin flat screwdriver
  • Small star screwdriver
  • A pair of scissors

How to use the Splash Absorbing Strips:

Simply place a Splash Absorbing Strip in the printhead before you flush or change dampers. You can also hold a Splash Absorbing Strip close to your syringe when you flush. It is recommended to use 2 Splash Absorbing Strips at a time for best prevention. See photos below.

WARNING: WARNING: WORK IN A WELL VENTILATED AREA and use Protective Equipment (including masks and gloves) when working with specialty printing and curing products and processes (including DTF, DTG, UV etc.) as fumes and processes may be hazardous. We highly recommend the use of a fume extractor when working with DTF powder in addition to good ventilation and filtration in your work area. The use of all specialty ink printing equipment and supplies such as inks, chemicals, powders etc. are at the sole risk of the user. Specialty inks and film require a good humidity and temperature environment (50% - 70% humidity, and 75° to 80°F) to minimize risk of ink clogs and film buckling.
