UV Ink | UVDTF Printer Ink from DTG PRO adhere to a wide variety of substrates and are highly durable. The same ink is used for UV as well as UVDTF applications. Choose the ink type based on your printer engine / printhead as listed. We currently offer UV Ink for Epson-based UV or UVDTF Printers (universal for Epson XP600, 1390, TX800, I1600, I3200 etc) as well as for Roland UV printers.
Choosing the right UV inks can have drastic effects on your UV prints. It is vital to choose inks that produce high-quality images without sacrificing other aspects such as your printhead viability. UV ink generally refers to a type of ink that cures or dries quickly when exposed to ultraviolet light, which can be useful in various printing applications. UV inks are a type of specially formulated inks that require exposure to intense UV light to cure. Unlike conventional inks that require oxidation or exposure to air, UV inks result in much faster drying times that can be ideal for printing businesses. UV ink is widely used in various industries, such as packaging, labeling, signage, automotive, electronics, and promotional products. Its versatility and fast-curing properties make it a popular choice for high-quality, high-speed printing applications. All UV / UVDTF inks should be shaken before use to ensure pigments are well mixed. Use in temperature and humidity controlled environments only (room temperature is recommended, and humidity over 50%)
Faster Production Speed: UV inks cure almost instantly when exposed to UV light, allowing prints to be handled or finished immediately after printing. This significantly increases production speed and output capacity compared to conventional ink systems that require longer drying times.
Less VOC Emissions: UV inks release fewer volatile organic compounds (VOCs) during the curing process, resulting in a cleaner, safer work environment and reduced environmental impact.
High-Quality, Vivid Prints: UV inks deliver sharper, more vibrant images than solvent-based alternatives. Because the ink cures on the surface and doesn’t evaporate, it retains 100% of its color density—resulting in vivid colors and crisp detail, even on uncoated substrates.
Exceptional Durability: UV-cured prints resist scratches, smudging, and fading far better than prints made with traditional inks. This makes UV printing ideal for items exposed to handling, moisture, or sunlight.
Wide Material Compatibility: UV inks can adhere to a diverse range of substrates including paper, plastic (PET, polyurethane), acrylic, metal, glass, and wood. Since they don’t require absorption, they perform especially well on non-porous surfaces where other inks would fail.
No Bleeding or Absorption Issues: Because UV ink sits on top of the material instead of being absorbed, it eliminates issues like ink bleeding or feathering—ensuring precise, clean edges for text and graphics.
Instant Handling and Finishing: With no drying delay, printed materials can be immediately cut, folded, laminated, or packaged—streamlining post-print processes and minimizing bottlenecks.
Low Maintenance and Reduced Waste: UV printing systems typically require less frequent maintenance, reducing downtime and ink waste. This contributes to better long-term cost efficiency.
At DTG Pro, we offer a selection of high quality UV-based inks that can produce superior quality images whose vibrancy and sharpness do not fade with time or exposure. Our UV inks work both for UV printing as well as UVDTF printing. Additionally, our inks offer excellent scratch resistance and adhere to an extensive range of surfaces, including thermoplastic products like PIE, PET, and polyurethane. Produce striking printed images with our selection of UV inks. Enjoy faster curing times without compromising on quality or durability.
