Why MagicMix™ Was Developed

Pigment-based printing inks contain solid color particles suspended inside a liquid carrier. Over time, those particles can settle, separate or accumulate inside bottles, cartridges, dampers, ink lines, tanks and printheads.

Once sediment begins to collect, ink density and flow can become inconsistent. This may contribute to color variation, weak output, nozzle loss, interrupted ink delivery and increased cleaning or purging requirements.

White textile ink is especially challenging because it contains a heavy concentration of opaque white pigment. Without proper circulation, agitation and regular use, that pigment can settle rapidly and create demanding maintenance conditions.
