DTF MagicSeal helps enhance the final results you get after the design is transferred on the fabric as this is a textured sheet that really pushes the graphic into the fabric of the shirt, creating more of a matte finish. It can also help with durability. The DTF MagicSeal ™ is REUSABLE from 350 up to 500 presses.

1) Before the first use, press the sheet with the rubber side down on the lower platen of your heat press with medium pressure for 20 seconds at 270° F / 132° C. This will condition the MagicSeal ™ sheet properly.
2) Press and peel your DTF transfer normally according to the instructions for the particular DTF film/paper you are using.
3) For the final post press, apply the rubbery side of the MagicSeal ™ sheet onto your garment, and press for 20 seconds with heavy pressure at a temperature of 280° F (140° C).

The MagicSeal sheet provides a matte and more durable effect on DTF transfers. This results in a professional finish with enhanced durability, making the transfer less prone to peeling and maintaining its appearance over time.
The way it works, is that MagicSeal creates a smoother surface (better hand feel) on your fabric by binding your textile fibers and inks together more evenly (embedding the inks deeper into the fabric), thereby reducing the rough or plasticky texture sometimes associated with DTF, DTG or White Toner Transfer prints. This results in a softer feel on the fabric, as well as better breathability and washability.

I have a couple shirts I'm testing. They've been washed and dried on low. Can I use MagicSeal these and will the effectiveness be the same as if I used it directly after the first press? See more »

Magic Seal is designed to be applied prior to the 2nd heat-press. Applying it after a shirt is pressed and washed will not be as effective.

Yes, the DTF finishing sheet is used in place of kraft paper for the post-press process only. This replacement is beneficial as the DTF finishing sheet offers superior locking of the transfer, which is critical for wash-fastness and durability.
