DTF Film is available in DTF Sheets or DTF Rolls, ranging from small format A4 DTF sheets, A3 DTF sheets, as well as many other sizes up to and including 16" DTF Sheets / DTF Rolls, 17" and 24" DTF Rolls. DTF Powder options are also available including white or black DTF powder, and ultra-stretch DTF Powder.
The process of heat transfer of textile ink to the film can be done on a variety of fabrics such as cotton and polyester. When printing using a DTF or DTG printer, you will first need to print to the DTF sheets / film. Then, add DTF powder to cover the print before curing. Wear protective masks when operating your DTF equipment and processes and operate in a well ventilated room with a filtration system.
Unlike regular heat transfers, you can print one layer of color and one layer of white and transfer it to dark textiles. Similarly, you can print in color and then transfer to white textile. By introducing the transfer film, you will achieve high-quality, breathable and smooth prints. Plus, the colors will be more vivid compared to using the heat transfer process.
Therefore, in order to make a successful transfer of the print to the textile, you will need a DTF transfer film and DTF powder. DTF powders are specially designed to use with DTF printing.
The printed film can be transferred on a wide range of fabrics including cotton, nylon and polyester. Film printing using high quality DTF film transfer and powder will ensure successful transfer and vivid colors.
DTF transfer is also preferred by many because it eliminates the need for pretreatment, something that is the norm with DTF printing. This is thanks to the use of DTF PreTreat Sheets and DTF PreTreat Powders.
