Roland RDTFS800 Inline Powder Shaker & Dryer - Fully Automated DTF Production

The Roland RDTFS800 Powder Shaker & Dryer is a high-performance automated finishing system designed to pair seamlessly with the Roland TY-300 / Roland TY-300i Direct-to-Film printer. This all-in-one shaker oven automates powder application, excess powder removal, curing, and film take-up, transforming DTF printing into a continuous inline production workflow.

Printed film moves directly from the TY-300 / TY300-i into the shaker using a dedicated alignment attachment that connects the printer to the shaker unit. This ensures precise media tracking, minimizes skew, and maintains stable film movement through the powdering and heating process.

With automated powdering, dual heating zones, intelligent powder control, and integrated filtration, the RDTFS800 delivers consistent, repeatable transfer production while dramatically reducing manual labor.

The system supports media up to 30" (762mm) and production speeds exceeding 30 m²/hr, allowing it to keep pace with the TY-300's high-speed print modes.


Complete Automated DTF Workflow

The RDTFS800 automates every step after printing:

  • DTF film exits the TY-300 printer
  • Film enters the shaker using the TY-300 alignment jig
  • Adhesive powder is automatically applied across the printed film
  • The shaker system removes excess powder
  • Dual heating arrays melt and cure the adhesive
  • The film exits ready-to-press and is automatically wound onto the take-up reel

This inline system eliminates manual powdering and oven curing, allowing shops to produce transfers continuously and consistently.

    Vacuum cylinders and a mesh belt stabilize film movement through the heating tunnel for precise curing and wrinkle-free operation.

  • Inline Film Take-Up System

WARNING: WARNING: WORK IN A WELL VENTILATED AREA and use Protective Equipment (including masks and gloves) when working with specialty printing and curing products and processes (including DTF, DTG, UV etc.) as fumes and processes may be hazardous. We highly recommend the use of a fume extractor when working with DTF powder in addition to good ventilation and filtration in your work area. The use of all specialty ink printing equipment and supplies such as inks, chemicals, powders etc. are at the sole risk of the user. Specialty inks and film require a good humidity and temperature environment (55% - 75% humidity, and 75° to 80°F) to minimize risk of ink clogs and film buckling.
