An Intensive Final Attempt for Severely Clogged Printheads

Before giving up on a severely clogged printhead, give it one carefully controlled last recovery attempt. DTFSOLUTIONS Last Chance Solution is our most intensive cleaning formula, created for printheads with extreme blockages that have not responded to regular or Xtreme cleaning procedures.

Printhead replacement can be one of the most expensive and disruptive repairs in a specialty-printing shop. Although no cleaning product can guarantee recovery of a damaged or fully blocked printhead, Last Chance Solution provides a final troubleshooting option when the alternative may be replacement. It may also be used to address extremely clogged compatible ink tubing.

When to Use It

• Only after regular DTFSOLUTIONS Cleaning Solution has not resolved the clog
• After DTFSOLUTIONS Xtreme Cleaning Solution has also been attempted as appropriate
• For severe, persistent blockages in compatible printhead channels or ink tubing
• When the printhead is already being considered for replacement

Critical Follow-Up Step

After using Last Chance Solution, always perform a complete follow-up flush with regular DTFSOLUTIONS Cleaning Solution before reintroducing ink. Last Chance Solution should not remain in the printhead or ink path and should not be mixed with printing ink.

IMPORTANT: This is an advanced, last-resort service product. Do not use for routine cleaning, wet capping, or storage. Do not leave it in the printhead. Never force fluid through a printhead, and follow printer-specific service and safety procedures. Results depend on the cause and severity of the blockage and are not guaranteed.
