Yes, you typically can use a Direct-to-Garment (DTG) printer for Direct-to-Film (DTF) printing. You would need DTF sheets (a DTG printer is platen based, so printing to rolls with a DTG printer is typically not possible) and you may need to perform some trial and error to find the best matching DTF film and adhesive powders to match your DTG printer inks.
