Heat Press Platen Cleaner & Residue Remover

The DTFSOLUTIONS Platinum Rescue Solution, by MagicLine, is the replacement cleaning solution for the MagicLine HeatPress Rescue Kit. It is designed to help loosen and remove stubborn residue, adhesive buildup, glue, ink contamination, scorch marks, and hardened debris from the upper platen of your heat press.

Over time, heat press platens can become contaminated from everyday production mistakes and repeated use. DTF transfers pressed without a protective cover sheet, vinyl pressed upside down, melted adhesive, overheated materials, and ink residue can all leave behind buildup that may affect future presses.

Even small blemishes on the platen surface can transfer onto garments, damage prints, create uneven pressure, and reduce transfer quality. Keeping your heat press clean helps protect your equipment and maintain professional results.

This product includes the cleaning solution refill only. Cotton rag, scraper, and replacement blades are not included.

How To Use

1. Warm the upper heat press platen slightly. The platen should be warm, not hot. Be careful not to burn yourself.
2. Apply a small amount of Rescue Solution to a lint-free cotton rag.
3. Wipe the affected platen area to help loosen residue and buildup.
4. Carefully scrape away softened contamination using a suitable scraper.
5. Wipe the platen clean and repeat the process as needed until the surface is smooth and free of residue.
6. Finish by wiping the platen with a clean rag lightly dampened with water to remove any remaining HeatPress Rescue Solution.
