Join thicker compatible materials Weld stainless steel and carbon steel up to 5 mm thick under suitable conditions. Choose wire-filled welding with the included feeder or autogenous welding for appropriate joints that do not require added filler wire.

Bring cutting to the workpiece Fit the handheld cutting tip for compatible trimming and fabrication tasks. The 1200W model supports handheld cutting of stainless steel and carbon steel up to 5 mm thick, with the appropriate gas and processing settings.
03 / CLEAN
Give the finish attention Use the included standard cleaning nozzle for compatible metal-cleaning applications, including post-weld surface treatment. Add another useful process without purchasing a separate laser source.
A dedicated wire feeder, included. The 1200W package includes a separate wire feeder with adjustable feed speed and support for 0.8, 1.0, 1.2, and 1.6 mm wire . Its maximum supported spool weight is 15 kg , giving you room for larger wire supplies as your workload grows.
The welder's 5 m welding-head cable provides working reach around your setup. Select the wire, nozzle, and parameters that match your material and joint requirements.

1200W vs. 800W: more room for demanding projects. Choose the 1200W when thicker materials are a regular part of your work, or when you want additional capacity for future projects. Its higher laser output expands the processing range; actual speed and results depend on the application.

Prepare your workspace: xTool recommends a dedicated circuit with at least 25A current-carrying capacity. U.S. versions use a NEMA 6-30R outlet, or a 6-50R outlet for some versions. Have a qualified electrician confirm the correct supply and connection for your delivered machine. Arrange suitable shielding gas, regulation equipment, ventilation, and the protective measures specified by xTool.
Room to grow into CNC metal cutting. The MetalFab platform can expand with the separately purchased xTool CNC Cutter for software-controlled part production. Add CNC capability when your workflow calls for repeatable profiles, custom signage, or nested sheet-metal components. The CNC platform and its camera-positioning features are not part of this standalone welder package.
