MagicBond™ is a professional adhesion enhancer designed to strengthen the bond between garment fibers and the transfer or finishing layer. Within the MagicLine™ system, MagicBond™ is applied before pressing to improve adhesion for MagicFoil™, helping produce cleaner foil release, sharper detail, stronger bonding, and improved durability.

MagicBond™ is primarily designed for HTF (Heat Transfer Foil) and HTV (Heat Transfer Vinyl) workflows, where foil and vinyl typically have a harder time bonding to garments than standard DTF adhesive. It is required for HTF applications and strongly recommended for HTV when extra adhesion strength is needed.

While MagicBond™ is not required for standard DTF printing, it can also be beneficial in DTF workflows when you are experiencing peeling, edge lifting, adhesion challenges on polyester or performance fabrics, or low-temperature pressing conditions.

The result is a versatile, professional-grade spray that improves reliability across foil finishing, vinyl application, and specialty transfer workflows, making it a valuable tool for decorators who want better bonding and more consistent results.

How MagicBond™ Works

MagicBond™ acts as a bonding activator that enhances the interaction between the garment fibers and the adhesive or transfer layer. When used prior to foiling or vinyl application, it helps the finishing layer adhere more effectively exactly where it is needed, improving both appearance and long-term performance.

How to Use

1. Lightly mist MagicBond™ on the garment, or on the transfer if preferred.
2. Apply before pressing foil, vinyl, or the printed transfer.
3. Allow a brief flash-off until the surface becomes slightly tacky, not overly wet.
4. Press as normal according to your standard application settings.

Important: MagicBond vs MagicSeal

MagicBond™ is a pre-press adhesion product. Its primary purpose is to improve bonding, especially for foil and vinyl applications.

MagicSeal™ is a post-press finishing product. It is applied after the transfer has already been pressed to improve hand feel, breathability, flexibility, washability, and overall finished quality.

In simple terms:

• MagicBond™ = Stick better (Pre-Press)
• MagicSeal™ = Feel better & wash better (Post-Press)

These two products solve different problems, and when used together they deliver maximum performance: stronger adhesion from MagicBond™, plus improved hand feel, breathability, and durability from MagicSeal™.
