Why It Works for Your Apparel / DTF & Laser Setup

When operating a DTF apparel printing line (film printing, powder application, curing, pressing), you generate fine particulate dust (adhesive powder), inks and possible off-gassing from substrates and adhesives. Laser cutting, engraving, DTF printing, powder application, curing, and pressing can generate a combination of fine particles, smoke, and chemical fumes. The SafetyPro AP2 Max helps:

  • Maintain clean air free from powder haze-protecting operators, machinery optics and air quality.
  • Reduce sticky film path contamination by capturing overspray and airborne particles before they settle.
  • Ensure safer workspace compliance and better ventilation support, especially in indoor studios or shared spaces.

Installation & Setup Tips

  1. Place the AP2 Max near your powder or curing station to capture air before it disperses into the room.
  2. Connect exhaust hose if required-either vent to outside or recirculate filtered air indoors depending on local code.
  3. Turn on auto-mode if your printer supports synced operation-this suspends AP2 Max operation when machine is idle, saving runtime and filter life.
  4. Monitor filter status via panel or app; clean the cyclone pre-filter regularly for best performance.

WARNING: WARNING: WORK IN A WELL VENTILATED AREA and use Protective Equipment (including masks and gloves) when working with specialty printing and curing products and processes (including DTF, DTG, UV etc.) as fumes and processes may be hazardous. We highly recommend the use of a fume extractor when working with DTF powder in addition to good ventilation and filtration in your work area. The use of all specialty ink printing equipment and supplies such as inks, chemicals, powders etc. are at the sole risk of the user. Specialty inks and film require a good humidity and temperature environment (55% - 75% humidity, and 75° to 80°F) to minimize risk of ink clogs and film buckling.
