What Does MagicSeal™ Do?
Softer Hand-Feel
Helps reduce the raised, plastic-like feel commonly associated with
DTF, vinyl, white toner, and other transfer technologies.
Smoother Finish
Smooths the surface of the transfer and helps the print appear more
integrated with the garment fibers.
Enhanced Wash Protection
Helps protect transfers against cracking, abrasion, edge lifting,
premature wear, and repeated laundering.
Premium Presentation
Produces a more refined final garment suitable for premium apparel,
retail products, uniforms, and professional production.
Explore the MagicSeal™ Product Family
Each MagicSeal™ product serves a different role. Sprays are applied to the
printed area, while finishing sheets control the surface, pressure, heat
transfer, and final texture during pressing.
MagicSeal™ Spray
The original MagicSeal™ finishing spray for improving softness,
surface smoothness, and everyday wash-and-wear performance. V1 has a
slight odor, while V2 is odorless.
Best for:
General print finishing, softer hand-feel, routine production, and
shops seeking an easy single-product enhancement.
MagicSeal™ Sheet
The original soft and pliable finishing sheet designed to smooth
transfers and create a soft, refined surface during the finishing
press.
Its flexible construction and proprietary silicone-coated finishing
surface conform easily to the garment and print.
Best for:
Lower-temperature finishing, softer surface effects, and light to
moderate production.
MagicSeal™ Fusion Spray
An advanced finishing formula developed for greater wash resistance,
improved print protection, and longer-lasting performance.
Fusion Spray is designed to interact with the transfer, garment,
heat, and finishing surface to produce a stronger finished result.
Best for:
Maximum washability, commercial production, frequently washed
garments, workwear, uniforms, and premium apparel.
MagicSeal™ PRO Sheet
An advanced fiberglass-reinforced composite featuring MagicSeal PRO™
fiberglass stabilization technology and a proprietary silicone
finishing surface.
It is sturdier, more dimensionally stable, more heat-resistant, and
longer-lasting than the original MagicSeal™ Sheet.
Best for:
High-volume production, higher finishing temperatures, repeated
press cycles, and use with MagicSeal Fusion Spray.

Fusion Spray + PRO Sheet = Best Results
Pair MagicSeal Fusion Spray with the
MagicSeal PRO Sheet for the best combination of softness,
wash durability, and long-lasting performance.
Important: Always follow proper heat-press safety procedures,
follow the instructions for the transfer and garment, and test a small area
first when trying a new combination.
MagicSeal™ Sheet vs. MagicSeal™ PRO Sheet
Original MagicSeal™ Sheet
The original MagicSeal™ Sheet has a proprietary silicone coating and
provides dependable all-around finishing performance with a soft,
flexible surface.
Condition the sheet before its first use. Its recommended operating
range is 270–290°F, with an approximate service life
of 300–500 presses under proper use.
It is a strong choice for routine production where flexibility and
all-around performance are the priorities.
MagicSeal™ PRO Sheet
The MagicSeal™ PRO Sheet uses a fiberglass base with a proprietary
silicone coating for improved softness, durability, dimensional
stability, and premium production results.
No conditioning is required. Use it at the same temperature as your
first press within its recommended 270–330°F
operating range. Approximate service life is
500–1,000 presses under proper use.
It is designed for greater consistency, longer service life, and the
best overall results when paired with MagicSeal Fusion Spray.
The Complete MagicSeal™ Fusion System
The MagicSeal Fusion System combines two complementary technologies:
MagicSeal Fusion Spray and the
MagicSeal PRO Sheet.
Fusion Spray treats and protects the printed surface, while the PRO Sheet
provides the controlled finishing surface, pressure distribution, heat
stability, and repeatable production performance required to complete the
process.
Step 1: Apply Fusion Spray
Apply the recommended amount evenly to the printed area according
to the instructions for your transfer type and garment.
Step 2: Position the PRO Sheet
Place the MagicSeal PRO Sheet over the treated print with the
designated finishing surface facing the garment.
Step 3: Finish Press
Press using the recommended time, temperature, and pressure for the
printing technology and garment being finished.
How Many Washes Can I Expect?
There is no single wash count that applies to every print. Actual
durability depends on the printing method, transfer quality, inks, films,
powders, adhesives, pretreatment, curing, pressing conditions, garment
construction, application, and laundering practices.
As a general frame of comparison, properly applying the MagicSeal Fusion
System may increase garment washability by
at least two times compared with an otherwise identical
print produced and washed without the system.

Important:
These wash counts are general estimates and are not guarantees.
Results vary based on the original print quality, printing consumables,
ink, transfer film, powder, adhesive, curing, heat-press calibration,
pressure, garment type, application technique, washing temperature,
detergent, and drying method. Comparisons assume otherwise identical
printing and laundering conditions with and without the MagicSeal Fusion
System.
What Affects Print Washability?
Print Consumables
Ink quality, transfer film, adhesive powder, vinyl, toner,
pretreatment, and coating quality all affect the original durability.
Curing and Pressing
Incorrect curing, insufficient pressure, uneven heat, or inaccurate
press temperatures may reduce bonding and wash resistance.
Garment Quality
Fabric composition, surface treatments, stretch, dyes, moisture,
and garment construction can influence transfer adhesion.
Application Technique
Spray coverage, finishing pressure, sheet placement, and adherence
to the recommended workflow affect the final result.
Laundry Conditions
Hot water, aggressive detergents, bleach, fabric softener, high dryer
heat, and washing with abrasive garments may shorten print life.
Original Print Quality
MagicSeal improves a properly produced print, but it cannot fully
correct an under-cured, poorly bonded, damaged, or incorrectly
applied transfer.
Recommended Garment Care
Wash Inside Out
Turning the garment inside out helps reduce direct abrasion against
the printed surface.
Use Cold or Warm Water
Avoid excessively hot wash cycles unless specifically approved for
the garment and printing technology.
Use Mild Detergent
Avoid bleach, harsh chemicals, aggressive stain removers, and
excessive fabric softener.
Dry at Low Heat
Air drying or tumble drying at low heat helps preserve the print,
adhesive bond, and garment fibers.
